TOMS RIVER - Police say a pawn shop worker was arrested for purchasing stolen gold jewelry with the intention of reselling it.

Investigators say 41-year-old Mutlu "Mark" Baykara at Inner Net Computer Store on Route 37 was buying the jewelry to resell in Woodbridge and hiding those transactions from authorities.

Baykara was arrested and charged with conspiracy to purchase stolen goods.

Police say the undercover investigation revealed that sellers were never asked for identification and the store had a "no questions asked policy."
