Toms River National honored at Blue Claws game

LAKEWOOD - The boys from Toms River who advanced to this year's Little League World Series were honored this weekend at a Lakewood Blue Claws game.

The players from Toms River National joined the Blue Claws on the field last night for a ceremony that commemorated the team's run to Williamsport.

The kids were introduced during pre-game ceremonies and threw out the first pitch.

The team had made it to the Little League finals, but lost to a team from Hawaii.
