Toms River crash kills 19-year-old Francis Duddy, seriously injures 18-year-old Conner Hanfin

TOMS RIVER - An early morning crash on Saturday killed one person and seriously injured another.

Officials say 18-year-old Conner Hanfin drove through a stop sign, hopped a curb and hit a tree on Yellowbank Road near Vaughn Avenue. They say Hanfin was seriously injured in the collision, but his friend and passenger in the car, 19-year-old Francis Duddy, was killed.

Authorities say the cause of the crash is being investigated and no charges have been filed yet.
