Tolls suspended on GSP, AC Expressway for Irene

TRENTON - (AP) - Motorists trying to flee Hurricane Irenedon't have to pay tolls in parts of New Jersey.

Tolls are suspended on the Garden State Parkway south of theRaritan River and along the Atlantic City Expressway.

Gov. Chris Christie issued the order to speed evacuations. Routes 47 and 347 in Cape May County will closed to eastboundtraffic and all lanes will be used to move traffic westwardbeginning at 6 p.m. Friday.

A mandatory evacuation order is in effect for Cape May County.
