EDISON - Temperatures are expected to rise across the Garden State for the remainder of the week.

News 12 New Jersey meteorologist James Gregorio says temperatures will hit the mid 40s across most of New Jersey. Mostly clear skies are expected overnight as temperatures dip to around the freezing mark.

Gregorio says the warming trend will continue tomorrow with afternoon temperatures pushing into the 50s. For Friday, expect plenty of sunshine and pleasant highs in the 60s.
