EDISON - Snow could slow the commute across New Jersey Friday morning.

A winter weather advisory has been issued until 9 a.m. Friday morning.

News 12 New Jersey meteorologist Dave Curren says the worst of the snow will be early tomorrow morning between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. Snowfall is expected to taper off by the time most people head off to work, but drivers could face slippery conditions and limited visibility.

Accumulations range from two inches in south Jersey to as much as six inches in the north. The snow will be followed by bitter cold temperatures over the weekend across the Garden State.
