Today's Weather: Rain, t-storms possible; high rip current risk

EDISON - Rain and thunderstorms are possible again today across parts of the Garden State.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist James Gregorio says it will be muggy outside with temperatures in the mid-80s.

Gregorio says the trend of hot and humid weather is expected to continue through tomorrow.

Swimmers are urged to use caution because of a high risk of rip currents along the New Jersey shore. Tropical Storm Leslie is beginning to churn up the ocean just as many shore towns have fewer or no lifeguards on duty following the summer tourism season.
