EDISON - An overnight storm that brought more than 2 inches of rain to northern parts of the state is moving out of New Jersey.

Flooding was reported in several towns including Hillsdale, Westwood and Lodi.

News 12 New Jersey meteorologist James Gregorio says sun will continue to develop throughout the day. Temperatures will remain cool with highs reaching between 38 and 47 degrees.

Temperatures will plummet to between 16 and 27 during the overnight hours.
