EDISON - More precipitation is expected to develop overnight as some rain-swollen rivers struggle to recede below flood stage.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Michele Powers says as much an inch of rain could fall across the Garden State Wednesday.

A flood warning remains in place for the Passaic River at Little Falls and Pine Brook affecting Essex, Morris and Passaic counties. A flood watch has been issued for Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Union & Morris counties for the incoming rain.

High temperatures are expected to reach between 53 - 58 degrees.
