EDISON - Dry and sunny weather is on the way later today, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures between 56-63 degrees in the forecast.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Michele Powers says better weather will arrive temporarily following clouds and scattered showers from Wednesday night. Thursday will be sunny and dry, but very windy at times. Night temperatures will drop down to between 35-41 degrees.

A river flood warning remains in place for parts of Morris, Essex and Passaic counties as the rivers continue to recede.
