EDISON - Another wintry storm has its sights set on the Garden State for the weekend.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Michele Powers says snow mixing with sleet and freezing rain is expected to move in overnight, then change to rain for a brief period tomorrow afternoon. Powers says rain is expected to change back to snow before ending late tomorrow night.

A winter weather advisory is in place for Essex, Bergen, Passaic, Union, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Somerset, Morris, Warren and Sussex counties until 10 p.m. tomorrow. The winter weather advisory is also in effect for Western Monmouth County from 1 a.m. Saturday until 11 a.m. Saturday. High temperatures are expected to be in the mid to upper-30s in Northern New Jersey and the 40s in the southern half of the state tomorrow.
