EDISON - People around New Jersey are drying out after heavy rains and gusty winds slammed the state over the weekend.

News 12 New Jersey meteorologist Jim McFadden says flooding is still possible along the Passaic River at Little Falls, Chatham and Pine Brook.

McFadden says some showers are possible this afternoon for the northern half of the state. He says highs are expected to reach the mid 60s, before cooling down to between 45 and 52 degrees overnight.
