EDISON - Today will be much cooler across the Garden State today after temperatures reached the upper 50s yesterday.

News 12 New Jersey meteorologist Michele Powers says temperatures are expected to be in the 30s across much of the state today, dropping to between 10 and 22 degrees overnight. Winds gusts could reach up to 40 mph.

Powers says the next warm up is expected to begin tomorrow with temperatures pushing 60 degrees by Friday.
