THE BRONX - A dog reunited with police officers today after being rescued from busy train tracks Tuesday morning.

Police say the dog, nicknamed Tie, ran on the tracks from Greystone Train Station to Grand Central Station.

She was without a collar when authorities found her. The dog was then taken to Manhattan's Center for Animal Care and Control, where staff were unsuccessful in finding an identification chip.

Police say that other than her wet coat and hungry belly, Tie was happy to see them.
