Thousands wait for water test results after advisory

TRENTON - Thousands of residents in Trenton, Ewing and Lawrence are still waiting for test results after a boil water advisory was issued yesterday.

Officials issued the advisory because the high level of the Delaware River was creating problems for Trenton Water Works.

The state?s Department of Environmental Protection says it is waiting for the water test results before telling residents they can drink the water again.
