EDISON - EDISON - Power outages were a major problem at the height of the storm, leaving thousands of customers in the dark around the state.
Utility companies in New Jersey had reported that roughly 12,000 customers were without electricity after the powerful winter storm battered the state.
Officials say the numbers are now way down in most areas, except the southern part of the state.
Jersey Central Power & Light is reporting under 1,000 outages. Atlantic City Electric is reporting about 7,300 customers in the dark. PSEG is only reporting around 150 customers without power.
