EDISON - It could be Thursday before power is restored to most of the New Jerseyans who lost electricity during the fall snowstorm.

Jersey Central Power & Light says more than 154,000 customers are without power. The utility says nearly all of its customers will have power back by Thursday with the remaining by Friday.

PSE&G is working to restore service to about 67,000 customers. The utility expects to have finished repairs for most by Wednesday.

Rockland and Orange Electric have little more than 16,000 customers without power.
