Officials say tens of thousands of homes and businesses around the state are still without power following the snowy nor'easter storm that brought down trees

EDISON - Officials say tens of thousands of homes and businesses around the state are still without power following the snowy nor'easter storm that brought down trees and power lines over the weekend.

JCP&L says it is working to restore power to more than 61,700 customers, mainly in Morris and Hunterdon counties.

PSE&G is working to restore service to about 30,000 customers. The utility company has reached the goal that Gov. Christie (R-N.J.) set for them, having power restored to 95 percent of its customers by Thursday. Rockland Electric says they have about 13,500 customers without power.
