EDISON - Utility officials say about 3,200 New Jersey customers have been without power, thanks to gusty winds that lingered behind a massive winter storm.

Jersey Central Power and Light said about 3,000 customers in central and northern New Jersey had no service as of this morning. That's down from 8,600 yesterday.

PSE&G reported 200 customers without power this morning.

The utilities say emergency crews are working to restore power to those customers affected by the storm.
