TOMS RIVER - The manager of Toms River Honda on Route 37 in Toms River says that the burglars who came into his dealership cost the dealership and its employees between $130,000 - $150,000.
The property had no surveillance cameras and no alarm. The manger says they haven't had a break-in of this magnitude in a long time.
Police say the thieves grabbed the dealership's truck from the back parking lot, a green 1997 Dodge Ram pickup truck, and backed it into the service area.
Detective Chris Fluck says the thieves grabbed a few TVs and then headed to the service area. Mechanic Pete Varacalli showed up to work Monday morning to find the drawers in his toolbox empty. He says his toolbox had about $20,000 of tools that he purchased over the years.
