Third person taken into custody in death of Manchester man

EDISON - A third arrest has been made in connection with the death of Stephen Moore, 42, of Manchester, whose body was found inside a burning car in Long Branch last week.

Anthony Morris, 31, of Long Branch, was arrested today and charged with arson for hire. Unlike the other two suspects, Morris is not a family member, and is not being charged with murder.

Authorities say Morris took cash from the victim's former father-in-law and agreed to set the car on fire, aware of the fact that Stephen Moore's body was inside.

Authorities previously arrested Moore's ex-wife, Kathleen Dorsett, and former father-in-law, Thomas Dorsett. Both have been charged with the Moore's murder.
