NEPTUNE CITY - A Monmouth County business has offered to be the only drop-off point in New Jersey for holiday cards for our military past and present.

The Ice Cream Shoppe in Neptune City is part of a yearlong campaign run by the nonprofit organization called "A Million Thanks."

The shop manager says it may be tricky juggling ice cream orders and card deliveries, but says it's the least they can do.

"I have an excellent staff and a lot of help and it's just for the troops so I mean it's not really a big sacrifice compared to theirs," says Courtney Pidermann.

The nonprofit has reached its maximum for Christmas and Hannukkah cards this year, but will be in need of Valentine's Day, Memorial Day and 4th of July cards.
