TENAFLY - The Tenafly school district has contacted parents about a dangerous new trend among its students.

Kids are engaging in an activity called the "pass out game," which involves kids hyperventilating on purpose until they pass out.

When they wake up, they experience a sense of euphoria. Experts warn the oxygen deprivation could have permanent consequences.

The pass out game could also cause neurological problems, including memory loss.

Several students across the country have died from the game.
