Teaneck rabbi arrested for allegedly sexually abusing 2 boys

TEANECK - A rabbi from Teaneck is under arrest after being accused of sexually abusing two boys in the last few years.

The Bergen County prosecutor says Rabbi Uzi Rivlin, of Teaneck, engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with two 13-year-old boys from Israel. The prosecutor says the abuse took place while the boys were staying at the rabbi's home.

Officials say the boys were in the U.S. on a scholarship partly sponsored by Rivlin, who teaches at a temple in Tarrytown, N.Y. Rivlin has been ordered to have no contact with children under 18. The prosecutor's office says it will investigate to see if there are any other victims.
