TEANECK - A teacher from Teaneck is accused of allegedly touching a 6-year-old girl inappropriately.

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office charged Ronald Kraus, 41, with sexual assault by sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child.

Authorities say they were notified on Feb. 22 about the alleged crime, which apparently happened several days earlier on Feb. 17. Kraus was arrested Wednesday in Paramus.

It was not immediately made clear for which school district Kraus worked.

Kraus is expected to face a judge Thursday.
