Tea partiers rally in Parsippany ahead of election

PARSIPPANY - Nearly 1,000 tea partiers came out today in Parsippany to rally ahead of the presidential election.

Today was the fifth annual Defending American Dream Summit, sponsored by Americans for Prosperity.

The head of the New Jersey chapter, Steve Lonegan, says they push the conservative principals of limited government, reduced taxes and fiscal responsibility.

"We push politicians on both sides of the fence to implement the right kind of policies to preserve this nation?s economic future," says Lonegan.
