LAKE COMO - Dive teams recovered a body from Lake Como Friday afternoon.

According to Mayor Brian Wilton, police were called to the lake after someone jumped in and did not resurface.

Dive teams entered the lake and found the body. Witnesses on the scene tell News 12 New Jersey it appeared to be an adult swimmer.

The Lake Como recreational area has reopened to the public.
