WEST AMWELL - Police are trying to determine why someone spray painted swastikas and profanity on several West Amwell businesses.

Police believe the vandalism happened between Wednesday night and Thursday morning. They used black spray paint on the exterior of several businesses in the Mount Airy Village center along Route 179.

Another business down the road reported that electrical wires running to the building were cut.

Police say they have a suspect in mind and expect to interview the individual today.
