SUV sought in deadly Teaneck hit-and-run

Prosecutors say 59-year-old Steven Leitgeb was trying to cross the intersection of Cedar Lane and Garrison Avenue on Christmas Day when he was hit.

TEANECK - Investigators are asking for the public's help in solving a deadly hit-and-run crash in Teaneck.

Prosecutors say 59-year-old Steven Leitgeb was trying to cross the intersection of Cedar Lane and Garrison Avenue on Christmas Day when he was hit.

He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Officials believe the suspect was driving a 2003 to 2005 model-year black Honda Pilot.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office or the Teaneck Police Department.
