Messages of hate were found Friday at place that serves as a sanctuary of peace for Muslims in Bayonne.

BAYONNE - The man accused of a hate crime against members of a Muslim recreation center in Bayonne faced a judge Monday.

Jonathan Hussey was arrested Friday for allegedly spray-painting derogatory graffiti about Muslims and Allah on the Miraj community center.

The 20-year-old faces several charges including bias intimidation.
