PARSIPPANY - A Morris County man reflected Thursday on his life during the Holocaust on the 72nd anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.

As a 13-year-old boy in Krakow, Poland, the Nazi destruction changed Edward Mosberg's life and his family forever. He ended up in Austria at the Mauthausen concentration camp as prisoner 85454.

The 89-year-old says his parents, sisters, uncle and cousins didn't survive. By the end of the war, 16 family members had lost their lives. His wife also lost her parents.

Mosberg says he keeps a picture of his parents and his wife's parents, adding that every day is a remembrance day.

"We don't have the right to forgive," says Mosberg. "Only the dead can forgive."
