NEWARK - A frustrated group of residents took their anger to the streets Monday following a deadly weekend in Newark.

Several dozen protesters gathered in Lincoln Park before marching to City Hall a few blocks away. Some of the young children carried garbage bags, in honor of a 13-year-old girl killed Christmas night while taking out the trash.

The march was one of three protests held over the past two days to raise awareness about violence in Newark.
