EDISON - Many New Jersey residents are expected to get the most out of their Labor Day weekend by hitting the road.

According to AAA Mid-Atlantic, more than one million residents are expected to travel 50 miles or more from their home; an increase of 1.9 percent compared to last year.

According to the report, 84 percent will travel by car while only 8 percent will travel by air.

Currently, a regular gallon of gas costs $3.65. Gas prices are expected to adjust tomorrow morning on the parkway and turnpike.
