PISCATAWAY - As students move in to housing at the Busch campus at Rutgers Thursday, parents are reeling from a recent tuition increase.

Parents were told in July about the 3.3 percent rise in tuition at the university for this school year.

Many told News 12 New Jersey that the education is worth it, and they're going to figure it out.

"I have no idea how I'm gonna pay for this," says parent Rob Sekelski. "I'll do what I can, work a lot. He's the first one in the family to go to college, so we're proud of him."

A student living off campus pays about $13,500, compared to on campus, which costs $25,000, according to Rutgers.
