Streets and sidewalks cleared in Sayreville

SAYREVILLE - Roads in Middlesex County have been cleared by plows following Friday night's snowstorm and residents spent the morning clearing the sidewalks.

News 12 New Jersey's Marisa Brahney says both major roads, like the Garden State Parkway, and smaller side streets are now cleared. Drivers are still urged to use caution, as the cold temperature has turned the remaining snow on the roads into ice.

Sayreville police say there's been no major problems, but ice in the road has led to some minor accidents in the town.
