LINCROFT - A street sign is causing some confusion for drivers in Monmouth County.

The sign is located at the intersection of Newman Springs and Half Mile roads in Lincroft.

One side of the sign says "no turn on red." Meanwhile, the right side of the sign reads, "turn on red permitted."

Drivers who frequent the area tell News 12 New Jersey they don't know what to do when they approach the intersection.

The sign was intended to tell drivers in the left lane that they could not make a right or left turn.
