TINTON FALLS - Police blocked off Neville Drive in Tinton Falls after intense wind from Thursday's storm toppled a tree into a utility pole and knocked live wires to the ground.

Local residents are being asked to stay inside until crews can neutralize the threat.

The storm also caused flash flooding in Essex County and scattered debris across roads and lawns.
