MOUNT ARLINGTON - As many are carving their pumpkins for Halloween, a winter storm is carving a path through Morris, Hunterdon, and Sussex counties. The National Weather Service has already posted some watches and advisories.

News 12 New Jersey visited Mount Arlington, where many were making preparations for snow that may be on its way. Mount Arlington used to attract thousands of visitors by train every year from Newark and New York during the summer months. They'd retreat to the big resort hotels along Lake Hopatcong to enjoy the famous Mount Arlington Breeze, which always cooled the summer evenings

Thursday night, an even chillier breeze made its way through. Exactly three years ago, Northwest New Jersey got slammed with up to 14 inches of snow.
