METUCHEN - The Democratic challenger in the race for governor says she's not backing down, and has set up camp in a Metuchen restaurant to watch as the ballots are counted Tuesday.

State Sen. Barbara Buono has fought an uphill battle in her attempt to unseat Gov. Chris Christie.

Although she's well known in the Middlesex County town, Buono went into the race without the full backing and financial support of the Democratic party.

Buono is going into Election Day well behind Christie in the polls.
