RIDGEFIELD - State police and DEA agents were working together Tuesday night in Ridgefield to find a man wanted for buying drugs.

Investigators say Jose Manuel Santiago Lopez and Anel Zapata Delcarme allegedly bought drugs in the Bronx, then got into a cab and headed to New Jersey.

Police say the men stopped at the Vince Lombardi Service Area on the New Jersey Turnpike.

DEA officers following the cab, approached it during the stop and arrested Delcarme, but Lopez took off running into the marsh.

Officers searched the marsh but had to back off because of safety issues.
