State confirms 2 West Nile cases in Hudson County

State officials have identified two cases of West Nile virus in Hudson County.Authorities have confirmed 11 cases of the virus in New Jersey this year.

EDISON - State officials have identified two cases of West Nile virus in Hudson County.

Authorities have confirmed 11 cases of the virus in New Jersey this year. The only death from the virus this year was a 76-year-old Camden man who died last month, according to state Department of Health officials.

Health officials say positive cases usually begin to emerge in late summer and early fall.
