EDISON - A list compiled by The Star-Ledger reveals the top 10 intersections in the state most-ticketed by red-light cameras.
Combined, the red-light cameras on the list were responsible for more than 143,000 tickets this year.
The intersection at Route 70 and Springdale Road in Cherry Hill racked up the most citations, with nearly 12,000 tickets from red-light cameras in the first 10 months of the year.
Despite warnings there are red-light cameras at the intersection, a Springfield intersection ranked second on the list with more than 7,700 tickets this year.
An intersection in Edison totaled more than 7,000 tickets this year. Another one in Newark near Penn Station was responsible for nearly 7,800 tickets.
Three of the top 10 cameras are located in Jersey City, the most for any one community.
