Police, SWAT teams and hazmat crews responded to the scene.

A bomb squad was sent in and determined that there was no bomb but that there was a potential biohazard.

After a seven-hour standoff, officers entered the building and found the 27-year-old suspect, who was not wearing any clothing.

Family members say the man, who has a history of mental health problems, stopped taking his medication Monday night.

The man will be taken to a Hackensack Medical Center for a psychiatric evaluation.

Police have not said what else was found in the apartment. No one was injured in the incident.
