PERTH AMBOY - St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry gave away more than 300 frozen turkeys and chickens today.

Families who rely on the pantry for groceries each week were asked to stop by to receive the meals for Thanksgiving.

"We have approximately 350 families come in every week for food," says Jerry Yarols with St. Vincent de Paul. "And this is extra."

Bishop Ahr High School students helped the pantry pack up food for the families.
