NEPTUNE CITY - Snow didn't stop St. Patrick's Day celebrations at a popular pub at the Jersey Shore.

Patrons lined up for breakfast and cocktails at Kelly's Tavern in Neptune City as early as 6 a.m., in anticipation of the establishment opening at 7 a.m.

Jeff LaPoint, the chef at Kelly's Tavern, says Bloody Marys, mimosas, Jameson, Irish coffee, and Guinness are their most popular St. Patrick's Day morning drinks, while corned beef hash is the most-requested breakfast food.

Kevin Kelly, of Kelly's Tavern, says there were 150 people at the pub by late morning. He says the celebration consumes at least eight tons of corned beef.
