WEST LONG BRANCH - The largest Bruce Springsteen-printed memorabilia collection has a new home at the Jersey Shore.

Nearly 15,000 Springsteen items have been archived in the collection, including his 1967 yearbook from Freehold High School. The collection was formerly housed in the basement at Asbury Park Library, where some critics complained conditions were not desirable for storage.

The university, which has incorporated humidity and temperature sensors, as well as alarms, says it is hopeful the archive will become a teaching tool for professors.
