South Brunswick school evacuated after intruder report (6/8/15)

SOUTH BRUNSWICK - Two unknown visitors prompted school officials to lock down and evacuate a South Brunswick school Monday morning.

Police say a man and a woman walked into the Indian Fields Elementary School without checking in.

Authorities say the students were loaded on to busses and taken to Brooks Crossing School while police checked the building after the two individuals were not immediately found.

Police say they identified the two individuals as employees of the district library who weren't familiar to the staff at the school.

The students were allowed to return to class just before 11 a.m.
