LIVINGSTON - Many retailers have already put up Christmas wreaths and other holiday decorations. However, some stores are still holding off of decking the halls.

Shoppers in Nordstrom at the Short Hills Mall won't see a single holiday bulb until the day after Thanksgiving. The store even has signs at the entry points explaining the policy.

Nordstrom spokesman Colin Johnson says, "It's our longstanding tradition to wait until the day after Thanksgiving to unveil holiday decorations at our stores. We just feel it's important to celebrate one holiday at a time."
