Some NJ Pathmark stores set to check out

MARLBORO - Some Pathmark stores in New Jersey will be closing their doors after this week.

News 12 New Jersey visited Pathmark in Marlboro and found customers in search of bargains, as well as some employees who will soon be out of work and are worried about their future.

Some workers have been offered positions at different Pathmark stores, but some are overnight shifts or other shifts that the workers are not used to.

Pathmark is owned by A&P. Earlier this year, it announced it was closing 11 Pathmark stores in New Jersey and four A&P stores due to money reasons.

At least 8 Pathmark supermarkets in central NJ to close
