Soggy NFC Championship game puts Rutherford cleaner to the test

RUTHERFORD - The Giants are back home but that wet match-up in San Francisco is putting one New Jersey dry cleaner to work.

Barry Barone, of Park Cleaners in Rutherford, has cleaned the Giants' uniforms for 30 years. He says the team came back from Candlestick Park, an outdoor stadium, stained with grass and field paint. The uniforms were also soaked from the rain. Some will have to be washed up to five times before they're clean, Barone says.
